In November 2012 while Pam and I were in Wytheville, Virginia preparing for a revival service, the Holy Spirit dropped in my heart, “call for the butlers to remember you…2013 is a year for the release of the Joseph’s!”

The story of Joseph has always been a blessing to me. Joseph was the next to the last son of Jacob & Rachael. In fact, Joseph was Jacob’s favorite son. The favor Joseph had on his life with his father was not something he earned; it was put there by God to be a sign of the favor that would be on him throughout his entire life.

I don’t have time to go into detail, but this favor was also what got Joseph thrown in a pit, taken by the Ishmaelites, sold to Potiphar, then thrown in prison when he refused to sleep with Potiphar’s wife. It was prison that actually prepared him for the day in which he would be Prime Minister of Egypt.

While in prison, Pharaoh’s chief baker and his chief butler were also jailed for making Pharaoh mad. One particular night they both had a dream.  Joseph was able to interpret both dreams with the baker being hanged for offending Pharaoh while the butler was restored to his position as Pharaoh’s chief butler.

Two long years went by with Joseph being kept in prison. But just because Joseph was in prison (wrongly) the favor of God never departed off Joseph. He found favor with the warden of the prison, and was made the number two man in the prison! Someone reading this newsletter right now is in a “prison” not of your making. Just remember: when the timing of God collides with the destiny of God for you life, you will step out of this prison into the fullness God has had for you all long.

Finally after two full years Pharaoh had a dream and no one in Egypt could interpret. Then, the butler remembered Joseph.

Somewhere in your past, you have done something right….you’ve been a blessing…prayed a prayer….spoken a prophetic word…sowed a seed that met someone’s need….and now they are in a position to bring you into great favor with a king…a Pharaoh…someone who can promote you, bless you….and bring you into the presence of someone who will connect you to the people you need to be connected too…someone who will bring you into the full measure of the destiny you were put on this earth to fulfill!

I am absolutely convinced 2013 will be a year in which many Josephs will be released from their prison into the full measure of the calling of God for their lives.

Again, when the timing of God collides with the destiny of God, you will walk into the fullness of God. Many have been waiting and waiting…thinking their time will never come. In fact in the coming year, many will lose hope that God is going to come through for them. But for those who will not let go of their promise, but will keep your faith focused, you will see God move mountains, make provision, open doors, reveal signs that He has not forgotten you are in a prison.

While I heard the phrase “call for the butlers to remember you”, it dawned on me it really doesn’t take butlers (plural)....all you need is the chief butler to remember you!

I challenge you to call for the butlers to remember you in 2013.

Ministry Update

2012 was another tremendous year of increase and advancement for Revival Now Ministries. In 2012:

- We traveled three times to Kenya conducting three sessions of the Maasai Vocational Training, where in December we had 116 Pastors registered and gave certificates to 28 pastors who completed the first half of the training;

- In June we took a fourth trip to Kenya as we sponsored our First Interdenominational Church Leaders Conference in Kilgoris, Kenya; we also held two citywide crusades and another Pastors Conference in Lodwar Northern Kenya;

- In August, we were honored to once again to feed the village of Katapakoi in Northern Kenya. We also held services in the church Revival Now built for the village in 2011(this structure is the only church in and for the village).

- Revival Now expanded our outreaches into Nicaragua in 2012 holding three different conferences in which over 100 pastors were in attendance.

- Pam and I were also honored to minister in 33 different churches from 11 different denominational groups across the United States. Hundreds of people made commitments to Christ were filled with the Holy Spirit and touched with revival fire in altar services here at home.

This was all made possible because of the faithful prayers and financial support of people like you! Because of the interdenominational focus of Revival Now, there is not one major denomination that funds our work. We are 100% supported by individuals and churches that believe in our part of the Great Commission.

Thank you and Happy New Year!
