Weekend of Deliverance

Our first official weekend of 2007 finished with a distinct brooding of the Holy Spirit over the congregation. If anyone ever gets a chance to visit New Life Worship Center in Samson, Alabama, I encourage you to go there: you will be blessed!

This morning we saw a man set free from demons; he looked very old. Tonight he returned to the service and literally looked ten years younger! Amazing how the Holy Spirit is better than botox!

I continue to be amazed at the hunger and thirst I see in people everywhere we go. Jesus set the order in motion when He said, "Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled"!

What are you hungry for?

Or better yet, Who are you hungry for?

David,
We have begun our 3 day of prayer and fasting here, and I tell I was engulfed by the power of the Holy Spirit this morning here when I opened the church at 6:00 a.m. for prayer. The Word of the Lord gave Trish a word yesterday I wanted to share: “Hear the Word of the Lord: “It’s not the house I choose but the house that chooses me, siath the Lord”. What a revelation. Every house that will choose Him He will come and abide in there presence. I sense this morning that the Holy Spirit is awakening the obsecure, unseen channels that will hunger for Him, there is coming a move among the grassroot churches that will establish a relationship with Him. Intimacy is the key!
